I've been coming here for over 20+ years and they are always consistent with their food and service. This place gets packed during lunch hours. My favorite thing to get here is the chic neng-myun combo with the grilled short ribs. It's the perfect thing to eat when the weather gets hot!! The icy beef broth just hits the spot during the hot summer days!! I like having this for most summer days for lunch. And it pairs very well with the grilled short ribs!! Yum!!! Service is pretty quick and the ladies are all nice. The one lady knows us, spots us and gives an excellent service every time. Their location on Olympic Blvd is the one I usually go to, but I found out they have one in Irvine, too. That would be great for my daughter. Their hours are 11 am -9:00 pm. Call for take out orders if you prefer, but at this place, I prefer to dine in because the buckwheat noodle comes icy cold in a huge metal bowl. I think it's pretty filling for me even when I share the combo with my mum. Also, they have a self-service beef broth that you can have while waiting for your order. This is great tasting beef broth!! So soothing!! Thanks YuChun team for a memorable meal!! Of course I'd be back!!

Favorite cold noodle place in LA. The broth they have for the soup is so good. There's even a self serving broth station if you want more. Paired with grilled meat this dish is powerful. But the meat alone is not that powerful rather average Galbi

Highly suggest to other non-fans of naengmyun and spice wimps like me, try it at Yuchun and it might change your mind like it did mine! I was hesitant but my daughter loves this place so what could I do. The mul naengmyun is a bowl of icy, chewy, thin noodles with a few slices of beef, plenty of julienned cucumbers, and a half boiled egg in a tangy, delicate, flavorful broth that does not overpower. When your mouth gets too cold, take a sip of free, salty hot broth you can serve yourself from the dispensers at the back. If the noodles are too stretchy and tangled, ask for some scissors and cut them, the better to slurp them up without straining yourself. I was initially dismayed to see globs of red spicy sauce on top, but after I failed to scrape it all off, I just ate it and was happily surprised that it wasn't super spicy. The red sauce just adds flavor and a very slight kick to the cold dish. A great combo is the mul-naengmyun-and-kalbi, the tastes of the naengmyun and the marinated grilled short ribs go so well together. The combo is quite a bit more pricey but my daughter and I could easily split it and be satisfied. The meal came with kimchi, daikon, and wakame banchan side dishes. Parking was tight in the lot (there is also limited street parking) but with patience a spot opened up for us eventually. I did not consider myself a fan of naengmyun before, but now I am a convert as long as it is from Yuchun!

this is my new favorite place for cold noodles! Better than YukDaeJung in my opinion and is located in the corner of Ktown. The portions are quite generous and we ordered the bbq + cold noodle combo + dumplings which was more than enough food for two people. They have bone broth on tap which 100% sold me. Service is quick and it does get busy so anticipate a wait. Unfortunately there is only street parking

Located in Koreatown with so many competitors, another infamous Cold Noodle place. They have small parking lot, with few double park, or park on the street. Service was fast and friendly. We ordered few main famous items. Chic Cold Noodle with arrowroot noodle. Nice chewy texture. Not spicy at all. The soup base is not that strong. As some people mentioned, the self broth (pork bone broth) is more tasty. The kalguksu is just okay. Plenty of clam though. Galbi is on expensive side considering the portion is small. Taste not bad. Kimchi Wang mandu is true Kimchi dumpling. If you like kimchi a lot. This is for you. Size is giant. Come in 6 pcs. Just another option for Cold Noodle in the area.

An overall solid Korean spot for naengmyeon, but potentially a bit overrated. I thought the portions were generous, but found the broth a bit bland, and could've use more meat. The complimentary bone broth on the other hand was much more flavorful.

I have been coming to Yuchun for over 10 years now. I always get their mul nengmyun and I seriously can't get enough of their yooksu aka bone broth which is self-serve so I think I drink about 2-3 cups every time I come here. The food was good but the nengmyun did not taste as good as before, I'm not sure why... maybe the cook wasn't in a good mood? Lol i dunno. Anyways the wang kimchi mandoo that we had also ordered tasted good but it wasn't hot like how normal steamed dumplings should be. I had seen the server bring a plate of the mandu out to a table which they didn't order so she took it back to the kitchen and after couple minutes she came out with our dumpling order which was a bit questionable. My husband was like "that better not be the one she just took back," but the inside was not hot or steamy at all when we cut it open and we kind of knew right then that our assumption was right. I could tell my husband was pretty irritated but I didn't want to make a fuss about it so just ate it. We also got the dolpan kimchi and pork bulgogi which my husband liked so that kind of made up for it. I think I might come back for the nengmyun during summer and hopefully things will be better next time.

Amazing naengmyon. Cold, chewy, spicy, refreshing. They had self service hot soup in the back as well which was the perfect contrast to the cold noodles afterwards. Got the galbi as well and it was super soft and well marinated. Sweet and savory. For the price ($37+) we really don't get that many pieces of meat, but nonetheless the flavor was amazing. TIP: there is a parking lot but it's pretty small, squished and everyone was coming in/out in different directions (came at 8pm on Thursday). But, I'm also Asian, a woman and am not good at parking so take that with a grain of salt. Food: 9/10 Service: 9/10 Ambience: 8/10 (dim, homey, rustic vibes it was nice)

Amazing spot. Gets very busy, so depending on the time, be prepared to wait if its peak hours. The nengmyun is the best of course. The noodles are very good. Their galbi is good, but it is just soooo pricey... I really hesitated with giving 5 stars due to this, but the other items are reasonably priced, so it's fine. Definitely deserves 5 stars.

Service was super friendly here! All the food was delicious- the cold noodles and kalbi together are just such an unbeatable combo and all the flavors are so good together. The wang mandu was also really good- huge portion.
